During the 17th Congress, the Ceremony of ANTP Award of Quality will take place, and the trophies and the "Continuous improvement Certificates" will be given to the winners of the 7th Cycle of ANTP Award of Quality. The prize aims at distinguishing the urban companies, metro- railways companies, and manager committees of public transportation and/or traffic, registered in the prize and which demonstrated the best performance in quality and management efficiency in 2007/2009.
Authorities of the sector will be present, supporting this initiative of ANTP, created in 1995 which was sponsored by the CITY MINISTRY, DENATRAN, Volkswagen Lorries and Buses, SHELL of Brazil, Empresa 1, SONSUNG, Michelin and Wplex as well as with the institutional support from the National Association of Urban Transportation Companies – NTU and from Brazilian Association of Land Transportation Companies – ABRATI and The Land Transport National Agency – ANTT .
During the 17th Congress the 8th Cycle – ANTP Award of Quality – 2009 - 2011 will be launched.
